About

In a little sixth-grade classroom in northern California, Jordan Janice opened her writing binder, dreading its next dull prompt and the tedious rewrites awaiting her. “What’s the point of this?” she grumbled. “I’m never going to be a writer!”

If she turned her ear toward heaven, she might have heard God laughing.

Come summer, free from having to write for a grade, Jordan learned how to wield her pen to go on adventures with eccentric characters, forever changing the trajectory of her life. As she wrote her way through high school and college, wordsmithing became more than a source of entertainment—it allowed her to battle her crippling social anxiety and connect with fellow nerds. Now her dream is to publish books with characters that delight and inspire readers while pointing them to the gospel of Jesus Christ.

When Jordan’s not writing about the voices in her head, she’s hanging out with her family, scheming for her next piece of chocolate, or gaming.
